6 cups ham broth or chicken (8 teaspoons Better Than Bouillon Ham Base 8 cups water)
1 pound thick-cut bacon, sliced into bite-size pieces
1 large sweet or yellow onion, diced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/3 cup molasses
1 1/3 cup maple syrup
1 1/3 cup ketchup
1 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
1 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1 small can tomato paste
4 tablespoon Dijon or yellow mustard
2 tablespoons liquid smoke
4 teaspoon ground mustard powder (optional)
1 teaspoon allspice or ground cinnamon (either is fine)
