Bobby Flay Salisbury Steak

Prepare the Patties
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
Form the mixture into 4 oval-shaped patties.
Cook the Patties
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Make the Gravy
In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the chopped onions and sliced mushrooms. Sauté until soft and browned, about 6 to 7 minutes.
Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Combine and Finish
Return the patties to the skillet and spoon the gravy over them. Simmer on low for another 5 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Serve hot over mashed potatoes or rice.
