🍽️ Chicken Parmesan Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

Prepare the chicken:

If you don’t already have cooked chicken, cook a chicken breast in a skillet over medium heat with a little olive oil for about 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown. that it is cooked through. You can also cook the chicken under the broiler or in a grill pan for a nice grilled flavor.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper to taste. Then, syrup it into cubes or shreds.
Assemble the sandwich:

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on one side of each slice of bread. This will provide moisture and lots of flavor.
On one slice of bread, add a layer of chicken. If you have chicken pieces that aren’t perfectly cut, don’t worry, the cheese will hold it all together!
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese over the chicken. This ensures that the sandwich has a nice cheesy richness.
For an even better taste, add a little dried basil and garlic powder to the cheese.
Top with the other slice of bread, sauce side down.
Cook the sandwich:

In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter. For an extra crispy sandwich, you can add a little more fat if desired.
Carefully place the sandwich in the skillet. Cook until the bread is golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Use a spatula to lightly press the sandwich to ensure even cooking.
Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until it is also golden brown and the cheese is melted.
