1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
2. Make the Filling
In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, eggs, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
3. Add Chocolate & Pecans
Stir in chocolate chips and pecan halves.
4. Assemble Pie
Pour filling into the prepared pie crust. Spread evenly so pecans cover the top.
5. Bake
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the pie is set in the middle (a little jiggle is okay, it will firm as it cools).
If the crust browns too quickly, cover edges with foil.
6. Cool & Serve
Let pie cool completely before slicing so the filling sets.
Serve as-is or with whipped cream/vanilla ice cream.
